Season 1 is a disappointment. I need to Choose your weapon Halloween Slasher Halloween shirt. Much more of a murder mystery than a slasher. The Executioner and his seven-deadly-sins killings are a bore. The lead performance is terrible. Most of the characters are cardboard, but I appreciate the attempt at making them diverse. Unfortunately, the final product is like a Lifetime movie. So trite and poorly executed. Season 2 is actually great! A true grisly slasher with good acting, characters that are more complex and still quite diverse, and a story that builds tension and delivers satisfying twists and answers. Sure, it’s still a little hokey, but it manages to make me feel something at the same time. It’s scary and heartbreaking and beautiful!
